An open invitation to all community members to attend:
Street demonstration & free BBQ breakfast
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services’ Road Attitudes and Action Planning (RAAP) presentation is an initiative of operational firefighters. It is designed as a preventative strategy to provide information to young people about road safety so they can make an informed decision to mitigate risks and consequences by planning ahead.
RAAP is presented by local operational firefighters who have experience with trauma involved with vehicle crashes. They bring the credibility of someone who experiences dangerous situations and incidents on the regular basis with continual exposure to the consequences of road crashes.
- Come and ask questions on what and how local emergency services integrate at an accident scene.
- There will be a practical demonstration of a mock motor vehicle accident scene.
- Delicious free BBQ breakfast sponsored by CHRC and proudly cooked by Springsure Lions Club
- Local Springsure Emergency Services personnel from: Fire and Rescue, Ambulance, Police and State Emergency Services will all be attending
