The Central Highlands provides a full range of educational options from early childhood to university degrees.

Early learning and child care

Primary and secondary school

With over 29 schools representing both the state and private systems the primary and secondary school needs for your children are well looked after.

Smaller class sizes mean more personal attention for your student. Our high schools offer a diverse mix of traditional subject choices plus music, arts and vocational programs. See the community directory for more information.

Tertiary education

The Central Highlands is home to a campus of the CQUniversity/TAFE College (now merged) and the Australian Agricultural College, offering everything from a bachelor degree to short courses for trade and vocational education. We also have ample smaller training organisations to meet your training needs for obtaining qualification or tickets.
